Stripes – A Classic Trend

Stripes are a trend that seems to pop up every year. 2017 is no exception. This year brings oversized frills, shirt dresses and culottes, all in coloured stripes mixed with fresh white.
Yesterday I added a whole stack of new stripes to the website; luxury linens, simple cotton chambrays and seersuckers.
See all of our striped fabric here.

See my Stripe Dressmaking Inspiration Board on Pinterest for lots of stripe ideas and inspirations and links to all images below.

Copy this simple to wear red stripe dress with our new Linen stripe and the Lottie dress pattern from, Christine Haynes.

The Alder shirtdress features a lovely frill round the botton like this dress, use our Grey cotton chambray to recreate this look.

For head to toe stripe dressing try a mix of the Mimosa culottes with a Willow tank. Stripes cotton poplin with stretch would make this outfit super comfortable to wear.

The Aziare blouse would be great for this peplum look, make the dress or top version in our blue stripe chambray.
