The Blush Edit

Blush pink has fully integrated itself into our lives and is showing no signs of going anywhere. From walls, to hair and hanging in our wardrobes there is no shying away from this baby sister of red. It can be pretty and girlish but it can also have an tougher edge to it. It doesn’t need to be saved for summer either, below I’ve shown you some ideas how to wear this wonderful colour right through the year.

Fancy some pinkspiration? (sorry not sorry) Check out my Pinterest Board here.

I love the idea of fancy clothes for day wear and this sequin skirt paired with a sweater and trainers is my new #wardrobegoal Easily recreate this look with our Rose Gold Sequins, they’re really simple to sew and have already become a firm favourite here at Fabric Godmother. Pick a pull on pencil skirt pattern like the Axel and add our Jersey lining to prevent it catching. Not sure you could pull of the sequins for daywear look? Wellll….Christmas is just around the corner so why not get on your party outfit planning early.

It doesn’t get much more feminine than this. An ‘oh so popular’  Shirt dress in our Sorrento Viscose Crepe made in the palest of pinks. Add a touch of pink to your hair for an added fashion statement.

Pink trousers have made their way from the legs of Chelsea men onto the high street. This Pink Stretch Cotton Sateen would look very cool made into Guise pants. A long sleeved white tee and trainers will keep the chill off and keep you looking fresh.

A flowery shirt does’t have to be fussy and girlie as this beautiful crepe proves. The Melilot Shirt in our Verdure crepe will look wonderful paired with a pair of jeans in an outfit you will wear through till next spring.

Ever since SJP flounced onto our screens we have all dreamed of owning a tulle skirt. Make your ballet dancer dreams come true with our dreamy Pink Tulle, at only £4 per metre you can afford to make your skirt extra flouncy. Check out Cotton & Curls VERY Simple Tulle Skirt Tutorial.
